The chart below provides a demographic breakdown of the trade area.

Using drive-time technology, the trade area is the amount of time it takes to drive to a location within a certain amount of time from a central location in Murphy (intersection of Murphy Road and FM 544); in this case 10 minutes.  Unlike a circular trade area, a drive-time trade area is irregularly shaped because of the local road network, difference in maximum speeds on various roads, geographic barriers, etc.
